Ever since we were first married we talked of one day working together. The year of our 25th anniversary seemed like a good time to start. We ran the first workshop in spring 2013 and were lucky enough to have an inspirational group of people who gave us the encouragement we needed to continue. So here's a little more about us ...
Sarah was born and brought up in the French Alps. She spent 25 years running a successful textile design business before re-training as a counsellor. Today she works with individuals and couples, in private practice and also within the NHS. Alongside more traditional approaches, Sarah uses symbolism, metaphor and imagery as a powerful means of helping people understand their stories. She is a COSCA accredited trainer in counselling skills, and an accredited member of BACP. She is also a qualified yoga teacher and has a particular interest in the body-mind link and how yoga and mindfulness improve mental health.
Jamie is an author, writer and facilitator. For many years he has worked with individuals and organisations in many countries, helping people and businesses to find their voices and tell their stories. He is one of three partners in the Dark Angels programme of Creative Writing in Business courses. He has published several novels and for many years sat on the board of the Edinburgh International Book Festival, the world’s largest celebration of the written word. He blogs fortnightly at A Few Kind Words and is also a musician.
