FURTHER LIFE STORIES IN THE SUN
This is the Advanced Residential, building on the work of Life Stories In The Sun (or the combined weekends Appreciating Who I Am and Living Life To The Full).
It can be a unique and special experience to work within a small group for a period of several days. The pace is different from the weekend workshops, there’s more time to work in depth and reflect on new insights and understanding of ourselves and the issues we are dealing with.
There’s also time to work on your own, or in pairs, to integrate what transpires in the group sessions during the week. And of course we make sure there’s plenty of time to visit the area, swim in the river, and enjoy good food and just chill out!
We’ll also be introducing work on the integration of body-mind-spirit through yoga and some mindfulness exercises. Sarah is now a yoga teacher with a particular interest in how yoga and relaxation and breathing techniques can improve mental health. Yoga sessions will of course be optional!
On this Advanced Residential we want to make sure you have time to focus on your own particular areas of interest—this may be a personal creative project—which may involve writing (or music), family stories, current issues, or anything else that feels important.
Again – it’s not entirely a creative retreat, personal development workshop, or mind-body- spirit week, but something of all of these! Calming, restoring, enriching, energizing.
The all-in cost of the week (bed and all meals, plus the course fee, but excluding travel) will be £950. Depending on numbers, there may be some room-sharing. If you prefer a room to yourself, there’s a supplement of £100 to guarantee single occupancy. Toulouse is the nearest airport. A transfer is available at a cost of €70 return per person.
Further Life Stories In The Sun
Os Figueiros has long views to the Pyrenees, beautiful walks and swimming in the nearby River Viaur.
In 2018 we head to southwest France for the second year running for our Advanced Residential. We will have sole, fully-catered use of Os Figueiros, a charming, rustic farmhouse-and-barn complex on the border of the Tarn and Aveyron regions.
